Calling Dawn

This is for my half of the art trade with the lovely ~Liz-Kaguya~! She asked that I paint a fire fairy, which was awesome, because I had absolute complete freedom to design, which is rare. Not sure I made the most of the opportunity, though I'm not displeased (except for I sort of failed at the pattern on the top skirt... need to practice with that). Not a bad scan either, I'm surprised. And I kind of failed the hands, but I DID NOT SCREW UP THE FACE. That's like... only the second time I've ever not screwed up the face. It actually improved from drawing to painting. Yeahhhhh BD

The background could be better, but it could be worse, too. Yep, I'm back and forth how I feel on this one. That's all.
